Quick answer
Check Suno's error message and your browser's download list first. A limit message calls for checking your allowance; an expired link needs a fresh download from the song page. For a failed save, check the connection, storage and permissions. If the download is complete, locate the file and check playback before downloading it again.

Suno says you've run out of downloads
As of October 9, 2026, Suno lists up to 7 lifetime trial downloads for Free, 20 per month for Pro, and 60 per month for Premier. Paid allowances reset on your billing date; Free trials do not renew monthly. Studio workflows are unaffected by these limits.
If Suno explicitly blocks this download because you've reached your download limit, review the additional-download options or wait for the applicable reset. Otherwise, continue with the symptom that matches your problem below.
Suno says failed or interrupted downloads do not count against your download limit. If your remaining download count drops after a failed attempt, include the before-and-after counts in your support request.
The download link is expired or won't load
When an old file link stops working, reopen the song in your Suno Library or Workspace. Select More Actions (…) → Download to request a fresh file, following Suno's instructions.
If you're using SunoSaver, copy the share link again from the song's Suno page and paste it into the Song Downloader. Use the Playlist Downloader for playlist links. For songs you can access only while signed in, use Suno's download option instead.
The file doesn't save to your device
In Chrome, open Menu → Downloads. If the download is complete, open its file location. If it is paused or failed, follow the matching fix below.
- Connection interrupted: resume the download if offered, or retry over a stable connection.
- Storage or permission error: check free space and choose a folder you can save to.
- Authorization error: return to the source page and check the account or access it requires.
- Security warning: review the reason for the block and verify the source before proceeding.
See Chrome's error guide for details. If the list is empty, reload and try the same song in another updated browser with the same account. If it works, save it there and review the original browser's permissions and extensions.
If only the first song in a batch saves, check the site's automatic-download permission. Allow multiple files for the batch you intended to save.
WAV is missing or the WAV download fails
Suno lists WAV for Pro and Premier on suno.com; mobile downloads default to MP3. If WAV isn't offered, check your subscription and open the song on the website.
If the WAV option is present but fails, try that song on its own. A successful MP3 download gives you a usable copy for tasks where MP3 is sufficient. For work that needs the WAV export, retry later or report the WAV error to Suno, noting that MP3 worked.
The saved audio stops early or won't open
Play the original Suno song to the end and compare its full duration with the saved copy. If the original recording itself ends there, downloading it again won't add more audio. If the original plays in full but the copy cuts off, check that the download completed, then save a fresh copy.
If the file won't open, try another player that supports its format. If it plays there, check your usual player's file support and settings. If neither player opens it, try a fresh download.
If you downloaded a ZIP, extract it before opening the songs. Compare the files with your selection and retry any missing tracks that are still available. Our bulk-download guide covers incomplete batches.
Play any replacement file through to the end before using it in your project.
You can't find the song on your phone
On iPhone or iPad, check Safari's download status first. In Files → Browse, open Downloads under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone / On My iPad, depending on your Safari settings. If you chose a custom folder, check that location instead. Apple explains the download-location settings.
In Chrome on Android, open Menu → Downloads and check whether the file finished downloading. If it plays there but isn't visible in your music app, check that app's folder access or library scanning settings.
Get help with a persistent error
For a failure inside Suno, send Suno support the song link, exact error, and where you downloaded it: Library, Workspace, or Studio. Include your device, browser or app, file format, and time of the attempt. Mention whether another song or format downloads successfully. For SunoSaver errors, send the same details through our contact page.
Save your song with SunoSaver
For an accessible link to music you're authorized to save, open SunoSaver's Song Downloader to view the available download options.
